The Winter Puuko is our version of a Finish Puuko, or belt knife. We hand forged the blade from our robust 80CrV2 high carbon steel and gave it a flat ground and hand sanded finish. The nearly 4inch blade is the perfect size and shape for simple everyday tasks at home or put to work in the hands of a skilled woodsman. The handle we constructed from a variety of far Northern materials: moose antler, Alaskan curly Birch, blue Karelian Birch and sheep horn. The fittings are nickel silver. We married the Winter Puuko to one of our premium, hand made leather sheaths, crafted in a layered construction.
