Dreamed up in our fertile imagination and made a reality through fire, hammer and steel, the "Chubby Bowie" is the most unique knife that we have built to date. The 4 and 3/8inch blade was forged from our high contrast, 48 layer damascus, flat ground and given a hand sanded and etched finish. Next, we dressed the blade with decorative filework in the spine and set a brass "eye." We fluted the brass guard, carved the African Wenge handle in relief and finished it all off with a 48 layer, figured, damascus medallion. This blade is truly a one-of-kind piece when coupled with its handmade sheath, which bears a damascus emblem with our maker's mark.
